This past Saturday was opening day of deer season here in Missouri. By the time I got out in the woods, however, it was 62 degrees and very windy – not great hunting conditions. So, I gave up hunting pretty quickly and focused my energy at The Yacht Barn. I decided to pull the Balboa out and power wash it – since it was such warm, nice day. The next day I came back and used the shop vac to remove nearly two gallons of water from the bilge and sole – most of which got in through the open companionway since I haven’t replaced the board yet.
Here is a set on Flickr. She seems to have a more positive outlook on life now, doesn’t she? 🙂
