Quick Canoe Build

At the end of the Summer, for the last few years, I get kind of down. My kids go back to school, my wife goes back to Florida (and work), and I’m left alone for a while. I’m kind of a loner anyways, but it’s a very abrupt transition, and it often leaves me depressed for a while. Well, a good friend and I went on a wonderful overnight canoe camping trip last year. We rented canoes. It was kind of expensive. This year, he has his own canoe, and I determined I would, too, before our trip. Our trip is in about 3 weeks, we’re expanding to two nights, and I’m building my own canoe – from plans by Michael Storer from Austrailia. Now, I have something to keep me busy during this adjustment! Here is a Google photos set of the progress so far:
